Rules
Quest
Quest name: Legend Resurrected (Primordial Malzeno)
If hunter faints three times, or if 20 minutes have elapsed since the start of the quest, would be considered to end the quest.
About Players
- Any platform is acceptable: Switch or Steam
- Any nationality is acceptable
- Free to use any Palamute or Palico
- Followers prohibited
- Meal is acceptable
- Skill “Heroics” and any related meals is Prohibited
- Qurious Weapon Crafting is approved
- Restricted Qurious Crafting skills for equipment
- Up to 1 additional skill and 1 additional slot for each equipment

Sometimes, extra skills would come up even though you are not aiming to have that when doing Melding, it’s OK if you don’t use the extra skills/slots. No need to spend to much time to do the melding only for this event.
We will contact you about the equipment to be used before the day of the event, please feel free to ask us if you have any uncertainties.
Below are some examples for various situation.
Example 1) Extra decorations slots are there, but the extra slots are not being using
Example 2) It includes “Dragon Attack” skill, but the great sword used is the Amatsu great sword with water element attack power
Example 3) The skill “Normal/Rapid Up ” included which is not related to the great sword
Example 4) Skill “Speed Sharpening”, but using “Great Whetfish” to sharpen the weapon.
There maybe many other examples, please feel free to discuss with us.
There is a regularity in the way in melding for increasing the slot level. If you don’t want to use the extra slot, just use the first extra slot added!

- Starburst Bug are prohibited
- It is forbidden to restrict Primordial Malzeno ‘s actions by repeatedly going up and down to the high ground in area 2
- The initial position of Primordial Malzeno is fixed at area 2, with 30% chance to be appeared. You can reset the quest until it appears at area 2. Quest starts after it is appeared in area 2.
Prize
The winner in this tournament will win a prize maximum 100,000yen*.※
Finalprize amount depends on the amount of money raised by sponsors in advance and the total amount of super chat on the day of tournament. However, even if we cannot get any sponsors, we guaranteed that minimum prize amount is 30,000 yen.
If using “SuperChat” in Youtube, apart of your money will be collected by YouTube. Therefore, we recommend that sponsors can support us through sending us your money in advance instead.
Commendation
A commendation ceremony will be held at the end of the tournament. Then I will show the result on my Twitter and YouTube Channel.
Conditions of Participation

- It is even possible to record your gameplay directly with camera if it can be watched steadily.
On the day of the tournament, we will do a mirror streaming from our channel, so please use your own account to stream your gameplay.

To Great Sword Beginners
If you have no experience in Time Attack with using Great Sword but would like to try this tournament, you can join as by using the “Beginner Quota”.
You can attach a beginner badge on the day of the event, and everyone would give you more support!
Those who want to try participating this event but are hesitating because of the strong players, or those who want to challenge even though the Great Sword is not their main weapon, are also welcome to apply to play as a beginner.

How to enjoy this event
Even though this event is focusing on Time Attack, everyone can still have different aims and targets.
Someone may want to get the champion prize, someone may want to improve their personal best time of hunting, someone may just aim to finish hunting within the time limit. Besides, it is a one-time-challenge, which means luck involves heavily.
So I hope everyone can enjoy this tournament as just an entertainment.

Purpose of Organizing the Tournament
“Face the Monster and the Great Sword to yourself, and hunt the Monster within the target time.”The objective is to share the fun of serious hunting to everone.
We learned from the survey that only about 3 percent of all who played Monster Hunter have tried Time Attack. Actually, there are many ways to enjoying this game, and there are more opportunities to hunt in the decisive battlefield after the 5th update.
So if we can share the fun of serious hunting in these tournaments, we think more people will be interested in Time Attacks. Then maybe the game creators will design their games to take this type of play into consideration.
In some of the FPS game, the prize for the champion can be even up to 100 million yen. Being an E-sports professional gamers are also common nowadays.
If this trend spreads to Monster Hunter, one day we may really can becoming a “Monster Hunter” as a real job!. lol
Of course, the main game content of the current Monster Hunter is to hunt new monsters and obtain their materials to make equipment, but there are still various ways to enjoy this game, such as collecting medals or raising MR. Everyone can find their joy in this game.
Time attack is still a minority, so it is difficult to let our voices to be heard, but I believe it is important to respect the various ways of playing.

Timeframe of the tournament
We planned to have a same flow with the tournament we held before, so it is recommended to watch the 1st Hira-arare Tournament before this event, we believe that it is the best illustration for the difference between “Beginner quota” and normal participants.
